At Pet Care Hospital we often come across joint abnormalities in dogs and cats, it is more common in old age but can also be observed at birth or younger ages.

The sooner these abnormalities are detected the better they can be cured. Pet orthopedic surgery can cure most of these issues restoring full function and relief in pain.

For all pet orthopedic surgery, first the pet is subjected to a complete physical orthopedic exam leading up to the diagnostic work and testing of the condition, with the owner’s permit.

Upon testing the findings and required treatment or surgery is given to the pet.

A recheck or follow-up meeting is scheduled to measure the improvement post the treatment. Physiotherapy for the pets could also be advised in some cases.
