Not all Cymric cats are completely tailless but on a completely tailless Cymric cat, no protuberance can be felt. These cats are commonly known as Rumpies because of the rising of their small tails and some as Stumpies due to their small stump-like tail.

The Cymric cat has long hair and a double coat, which makes it thick and dense with high shedding. They do not get disappointed easily and are happy-go-lucky cat breeds.

These cats have a wonderful diet and can seem to get fat real quick. Cymric cats are very friendly and do not shy away from playing with their humans.

These cats take up the role of being a 'watch-cat' which means these cats won’t hesitate to belt out a noisy caterwaul to warn their humans when they feel something is amiss.
